Amateur rocketry often requires a conduit to guide the rocket's first few feet of flight, but many materials flex and whip, causing the rocket to spiral into a non-vertical flight path. With this challenge in mind, customer Mike opted to use 80/20's 1010 aluminum framing, which provides the rocket with enough straight travel time to gain momentum for liftoff.
