| Acrylic panels are a cost-effective alternative
to polycarbonate. While less impact-resistant, acrylic is available in
more colors, and is lighter in weight. Acrylic is great in applications
where optical clarity and resistance to the elements are a must. While
only half as heavy as glass and only 40% as heavy as aluminum, acrylic
is also easy to cut, drill, rout, and paint. Applications such as displays,
signs, furniture, low-impact guarding, and partitions are where acrylic
makes its mark. |
